Katie Riedel (she/her) is originally from Memphis, Tennessee and has been grooving since the day she was born. She was inspired to do theatre by her childhood dance teacher, who noticed she could not seem to stop singing during ballet class. After competing in dance her whole life, Katie is now a proud BFA Musical Theatre student of Shenandoah University, where she could be seen falling on her butt trying a new trick, holding down a soprano line, and listening to "Put On Your Sunday Clothes." The last semester of her junior year she packed all her bags to join the first national tour of THE OUTSIDERS as Marcia and a Cherry Understudy and can now be found doing those same exact things around the US.

     While throwing gravel and rumbling in the rain, she will graduate from Shenandoah Conservatory in May of 2026 and will receive her Masters of Science (M.S) in Performing Arts Leadership and Management through Shenandoah University in May of 2027. While at Shenandoah, Katie has been a dance assistant for various jazz and ballet classes, dance-captained and assistant choreographed for mainstage productions, and been everyone's go-to girl for changing a tire. 

     When Katie isn't performing, you can find her making homemade iced lattes for her friends, arranging flowers, baking a new recipe, or watching a rom-com.
